Charitable Giving

At Mon Petit Chien it's important to us that we're an ethical company and that we support causes close to our heart. Because of this we regularly donate a percentage of our sales to Friends of the Dogs (Wales) supporting dogs in Cardiff Dogs Home and Newport City Dogs Home.

  • Each time you buy a 3d printed full colour model from us, we donate £2
  • Each time you buy a personalised book from us, we donate 50p
  • Each time you buy a Staffie bag or a Jack Russell bag, we donate £1

Who are Friends of the Dogs (Wales)?

Friends was established in 2011 and is run by an amazing team of volunteers. They support and promote the unwanted, stray and abandoned dogs in Cardiff Dogs Home and Newport Dogs Home; to ensure that no rehomable dogs are destroyed, that they are cared for, loved and exercised daily until suitable homes are found for them.

They do a wonderful job and if you're in Wales and looking for a dog (particularly if you have experience with rescue dogs) we would really encourage you to get in touch with them. They're often looking for more volunteers!

Why do Mon Petit Chien support Friends of the Dogs (Wales)

We chose to support this organisation because Fraser, our Welsh team's little terrier cross, originally came from Cardiff Dogs Home. He's a brilliant little dog and he's enriched our lives whilst being with us. We want to help other dogs in the same place as he was. It's as simple as that!

What else do Mon Petit Chien do for the community?

We work with dog related charities to create wholesale ranges of our products that they can then sell to raise money.

We'll be running the odd event to raise money for dog related worthy causes, so keep an eye out and sign up to our occasional newsletter to be kept informed!

We keep our own dog off the mean streets and in active employment at Mon Petit Chien (doing important sleeping and packaging shredding duties).

We're also quite nice people, and the smiles are free. Come and say hello.
